Lebron James and Dwyane Wade: Performance In Elimination Games

I love Elimination Games. I don’t care whether it is a Game 7, or if a team is simply fighting to stay alive in order to avoid a sweep – I absolutely love them. Do you know why?

Because Elimination Games reveal the will, commitment, and character of the Alpha Dog.

How will the Alpha Dog respond with his back against the wall? Will he offer up his absolute best with the season on the line? Will something click inside him that raises his game to an even higher level in a definitive must win situation? Or will he succumb to the pressure, fold like the French during World War II, quietly begging for someone else to step up, thereby saving his worst for last?

The Miami Heat find now themselves in a ‘Win or Go Home’ predicament and will look to their two leaders, Lebron James and Dwyane Wade, to bring their ultra ‘A’ game with the season on the line. Who will step up? And how have they performed in the past? Below is a statistical summary, courtesy of Basketball-Reference.com.
