Mike Brown Is The New Lakers Head Coach
I can't wait to see what this offense looks like. Kobe going 1 on 4 similar to Lebron James in Cleveland simply will not work.

*crys in the car as this is announced on ESPN Radio*
I'm with the Realist on this one. Brown must have found his playbook that Erik Spolestra stole like in Waterboy, otherwise I don't know what they're thinking. I've always conceded the basketball deference to those that get paid millions to do it, but I honestly don't know what this is going to look like. I'll reserve judgement until the end of the calendar year, but for now this feels worse than losing to Dallas.

LOL.
Phil Jackson has more championships than any other coach. He's a top 5 coach, even if you feel he's not the best. The Lakers couldn't find a way to get up and play for this coach, and you're complaining about getting Mike Brown? How about crying about your team simply lacking a competitive edge period.

I was in shock too. (if you couldn't tell by my post a few days ago: http://chasing23.com/mike-brown-los-...rs-head-coach/. At the end of the day, no matter how you want to justify it (defensive-minded, Spurs pedigree, winning record, enthusiasm, etc.), there are some times when you just have to use your eyes and your head. And in this case, I just don't see how this coach leads this team to a championship. Sad day in LA -- let's see if Kobe and crew can overcome.
